DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Unified Carrier Registration Plan Virtual Training. The following trainings will be occurring over the course of the day. Each training will occur at the times designated below. Your registration enables access for ALL the trainings\, however\, you are allowed to leave for any portion of the training that does not apply to you and login again at any point. \n10:00am – 11:30am ET\nUCR 101: An overview of the Unified Carrier Registration Plan including who needs to register and how to do so.\nModerator: Sandy Bowling \n12:00pm – 1:30pm ET\nEnforcement: What law enforcement needs to know about UCR including inter- vs. intrastate commerce\, exemptions and common red flags.\nModerator: Bill Debord \n2:00pm – 3:30pm ET\nNational Registration System: A guide for state employees on administrative tasks such as tracking registrations\, refunding payments and conducting audits.\nModerator: Toby Piquet \n4:00pm – 5:30pm ET\nState Carrier Auditing: All UCR participating states are required to conduct an annual audit of carriers operating in their state. This session provides hands-on training for executing these specialized audits\, including the identification of all MCS-150 discrepancies and all Tier 5 and 6 carriers (based on their MCS-150 power unit number) that for whatever reason never register.\nModerator: Verna Jackson
