Given the Centers for Disease Control recommendation to avoid \”large events and mass gatherings\” that draw 50 people or more for the the next 8 weeks, together with the prohibition that many states have imposed on state employees travelling out-of-state, the UCR Board Chair has decided to convert the April 23, 2020 UCR Board meeting  from an in-person meeting to a telephonic meeting beginning at 12:00 Noon EDT.  Although by itself not a reason for conversion to a telephonic meeting, we just learned that CVSA has cancelled its workshop in San Antonio which was scheduled to begin on April 19.
