Operation Safe Driver
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced July 13-19 as this year’s Operation Safe Driver Week. This weeklong driver safety traffic enforcement and awareness campaign aims to identify unsafe drivers, deter dangerous driving behaviors and prompt positive driving habits through officer interactions with drivers. Data shows that traffic stops and interactions with law enforcement help reduce problematic driving behaviors.
Inspector Recognition
The inspector who noted the most UCR violations in May 2025 was Officer Scott Grimm, Illinois Commerce Commission Police. Officer Grimm issued 34 violations.
